69-year-old woman with left hemispheric TIAs and left orbital bruit. A and B, Cerebral angiograms show an 80% left ICA stenosis (A) and an 80% left carotid siphon stenosis (B). This is the only patient in whom the chart review indicated that the presence of tandem stenoses was the reason an endarterectomy was not performed.
