PSMA expression in pre- and posttreatment prostate carcinoma serum. A, comparison of mean PSMA and PSA levels in single point, pre- and posttreatment serum from different individuals with documented prostate carcinoma. All PSA levels were equal to or less than 4 ng/ml. The age range for pretreatment patients was 51–87 years, with a mean age of 65 years. The age range for posttreatment patients was 51–79 years, with a mean age of 65 years. *, statistically significant difference to posttreatment mean PSMA.
