・IMMA proposes to set OBD2 as 2nd priority (current 1st priority: Revision of GTR2)
Several CP’s already have requirements on durability in place, whereas OBD2 is a new requirement which some CPs are considering to introduce domestically in the near future. Hence, harmonization of OBD2 requirements is more urgent and opportune to discuss within the EPPR IWG.
Proposal on IMMA actions
・IMMA plans to prepare and share roadmap for OBD2 in next EPPR in Jan/2017.
If approved by CPs, IMMA will immediately start process and internal study for
preparation of roadmap.
Request to EPPR
・IMMA requests EC to prepare for drafting a revision of the proposal for OBD2 GTR,
in line with the outcome of the Euro 5 study.
