America’s History is filled with amazing heroics, people, and accomplishments. We learn about these things to inspire us and to grow an appreciation of our heritage But America’s History is also filled with hatred, discrimination, and bigotry. Why do we also need to learn about this?

7 Discrimination of other groups
Mexicans - In the southwest Mexican immigrants were hired to work on the railroad, agriculture, and mining because they could be forced to work for less money than others. Chinese – continued discrimination – Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882.
