and Invocation

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Hymn 345: Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken
7
Glorious things of thee are spoken,
Zion, city of our God; he whose word cannot be broken formed thee for his own abode: on the Rock of Ages founded, what can shake thy sure repose? With salvation's walls surrounded, thou mayest smile at all thy foes.
8
See, the streams of living waters,
springing from eternal love, well supply thy sons and daughters, and all fear of want remove: who can faint, while such a river ever flows their thirst to'assuage? grace which, like the Lord, the giver, never fails from age to age.
9
Round each habitation hovering,
see the cloud and fire appear for a glory and a covering, showing that the Lord is near: thus deriving from their banner light by night and shade by day, safe they feed upon the manna which he gives them when they pray.
10
Savior if of Zion's city I, through grace, a member am, let the world deride or pity, I will glory in thy name: fading is the worldling's pleasure, all his boasted pomp and show; solid joys and lasting treasure none but Zion's children know.

Praise Song You Are My Hiding Place
12
You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance,
You are my hiding place, You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance, Whenever I am afraid I will trust in you, I will trust in You, Let the weak say, “I am strong in the strength of the Lord.”
13
You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance,
You are my hiding place, You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance, Whenever I am afraid I will trust in you, I will trust in You, Let the weak say, “I am strong in the strength of the Lord. I will trust in You”

Confession of Faith: The Nicene Creed
15
Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of his Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God,
16
who for us and for our salvation came down from heaven,
begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; by whom all things were made; who for us and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate;
17
he suffered and was buried;
and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father; and he shall come again, with glory, to judge both the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
18
And we believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets; and we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church;
19
and we acknowledge one baptism
for the remission of sins; and we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Who with God Most High Finds Shelter
Hymn 91: Who with God Most High Finds Shelter
22
1. Who with God Most High finds shelter,
lives in God Almighty's shade. I will say to God, "My God, my fortress where my trust is stayed". From the fowler's snare he'll save you, from the deadly pestilence; cover you with outspread pinions, make his wings your confidence.
23
2. God's truth is your shield and buckler;
you will fear no ill by night, nor the shafts in daylight flying nor disease that shuns the light, nor the plague that wastes at noonday. At your side ten thousand fall; you will only see the judgment which the wicket will befall.
24
3. You have made the LORD your refuge,
God Most High your dwelling place. Nothing evil shall befall you; near your tent no scourge you'll face. He will angels charge to keep you, guard you well in all your ways, bear you up with hands that hold you, leest your foot a stone should graze.
25
4. You shall trample serpents, lions, tread on all your deadly foes.
Since he loves me, I will save him, keep him, for my name he knows; I will honor, I will save him; when he calls, I will reply. I will show him my salvation, with long life will satisfy.

Scripture Reading: 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15
27
6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you,
28
8 nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we
worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you. 9 It was not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves an example to imitate For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.
29
11 For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.
30
13 As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good
13 As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good. 14 If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed Do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

Hymn 585: Take My Life
33
1. Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee.
Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise, let them flow in ceaseless praise.
34
2. Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of thy love.
Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for thee, swift and beautiful for thee.
35
3. Take my voice, and let me sing, always, only, for my King.
Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from thee, filled with messages from thee.
36
4. Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect, and use every power as thou shalt choose, every power as thou shalt choose.
37
5. Take my will, and make it thine; it shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart, it is thine own; it shall be thy royal throne, it shall be thy royal throne.
38
6. Take my love; my Lord, I pour at thy feet its treasure -- store.
Take my self, and I will be ever, only, all for thee, ever, only, all for thee.
39
