Conclusions Plots of photonuclear cross section change from one publication to another, some of this can be explained by use of different shadowing functions. ALLM 97 parameterization is currently used in AMANDA. Its results are very similar to Butkevich-Mikheyev parameterization. Switching to the newer nuclear structure function as described in B-M will bring the ALLM 97 model closer to the new BB+BS parameterization.
