1. The 11th Annual Anthony Stocks Memorial Essay Competition
Eligibility: Open to all YSU undergraduate students, regardless of major.
Guidelines: Write an essay on any policy topic relevant to society. The essay should have a clearly defined policy issue which the author analyzes from all sides, and then suggests a policy solution based on the arguments presented.
The essay should be about 2,000 words (three single-spaced pages). Essays less than 1,700 or more than 2,300 words will not be judged. Essays will be judged on the merits of the policy analysis and the quality of writing.
