2. Laerdal, is one of the villages best known for being all of wood and also one of the most visited historical tourism centers of the Nordic country
The village of Laerdal has burned down almost entirely after a fire originated in a wooden house in Laerdalsoyri, a town of 1,150 people. At least 90 people have had to be hospitalized and receive treatment for gas inhalation.
