7. We use Class DOJO for our behavior system
We use Class DOJO for our behavior system. Please check to see how your child is doing in the class. I also post pictures on there for you to see what we are doing in our classroom. Dojo points also count towards your child’s House points. The House with the most points each quarter gets a reward!

8. Students earn marbles in the jar when they receive a compliment from an administrator or a teacher. They can also earn marbles in the jar for positive behavior. This includes random acts of kindness, following classroom rules, etc.

9. Every Friday, I will post a Weekly Update
Every Friday, I will post a Weekly Update. This is what we will be learning about in the upcoming week. This will also have important dates. Please be sure to look at this with your child and talk about what is coming up.
Blog: The blog will have a lot of resources for you and your child to use! Please visit it frequently!

10. Every Thursday in Thursday Folders you will receive the classwork and any tests that your child has completed in class. Please review this packet and sign and return the packet to school upon review.

11. We will be taking timed tests on Tuesdays.
Students must pass 5 tests in order to get their multiplication license.
Students must score a 96 or better on the 1st 4 and make a 100 on their 5th.
Once students pass their 5 tests, they will then begin division.
Tests are 100 questions with 11’s and 12’s. I give students 7 minutes.

13. 90-100 = A 80-89 = B 74-79 = C 70-73 = D 69 and below = F
Progress Reports 4 ½ weeks
Report Cards will be received at the end of each 9 weeks
1st report card will be given at conferences

14. Test Retakes
Students will be allowed to redo a classwork grade to earn ½ credit back for incorrect answers.
They will not be allowed to retake tests.
Adhering to Timber Ridge policy, the lowest grade that will go into the grade book will be a 60%.

15. Students come straight down to the classroom when they arrive at school. They will have a morning work activity complete.
Please always send in a note if your child has a change in transportation. We are not allowed to accept for changes.

Tardies- At the 7:50 bell students are tardy and parents will need to walk their child into the office.

Breakfast at the RIDGE! Every morning breakfast is served for $1.50 for students and $2.00 for adults.

19. School Volunteers
This year we are asking that you watch the 3 minute FERPA video at Open House. This is for those of you who wish to volunteer at our school. There is a form that needs to be signed by parents upon completion of the viewed the video.
