6 Mentor Program Objective: Assign ongoing support prior to start date to faciltate the integration of new volunteer The Mentor is: Coach – Encourage growth and development Advisor – Help “learn the ropes“ to aid in their development Support – Answer their questions & point them in the right directions to find answers Senior Contact – Touch base with them at minimum 1x per month (increase contact in beginning) to share your business knowledge Reference Book – Share your insight and your experience from RFL 10/31/2019

7 Steps to Building the Mentor / Volunteer Relationship
The Mentor Process Steps to Building the Mentor / Volunteer Relationship Over the course of first rotation, Mentor periodically contacts new volunteer to establish ongoing relationship Mentor sends to new Volunteer welcoming them to RFL NTP & asking them when they can schedule a call to talk During call Mentor shares insights, & encourages new volunteer to feel free to contact whenever they want New RFL Volunteer Mentor prior to start date Work with HR to recommend Mentors 10/31/2019
