Pre-Integrated Math I Preparatory course for Integrated I
November 6, 2019November 6, 2019 Pre-Integrated Math I Preparatory course for Integrated I CCSS-based investigative course - students use patterns, modeling, and conjectures Not A-G approved but meets math graduation requirements Designed for 9th graders who struggle in math revised from this year; Applying lessons learned based on teachers’ increased understanding of CCSS increases access to Integrated I may lack number sense, struggle to perform math operations, struggle to simplify expressions, earned D or F in 8th grade, and/or scored below 226 on NWEA

Integrated Math II November 6, 2019November 6, 2019 Students learn through collaboration, data gathering, experimentation, and conjectures Combines topics from geometry, algebra, probability & statistics, and trigonometry 2nd course in high school sequence 21st c. skills, sequencing of courses within pathway, Technology plays a role in learning, to collect and model data, make conjectures about the data, Students build a robust understanding of the mathematical principles

Integrated Math II Plus
November 6, 2019November 6, 2019 Allows students to take Calculus as seniors Includes Math Analysis topics including quadratic and higher degree polynomial expressions, equations, and functions with real coefficients Designed for students who excel in Integrated I and demonstrate extensive math understanding 1st course in two-course sequence designed to condense 3 years of math into 2-year span Demonstrate extensive math understanding as measured by SBAC
