6. Prioritization Prep
Steps you can take with your board before coming to the Assembly to prioritize:
Review all positions and proposals as a school board team.
Discuss and decide on local priorities – what issues resonate with you and/or your board?
Take note of your board’s rank order of positions so that you’re ready for Assembly.

7. Prioritization Process
Following assembly voting:
Delegates rank top 15 legislative positions
Use GREEN “List of Proposals and Positions” as guide
Two ways to prioritize (please pick one method):
Electronic ballot – link will be available on the day-of assembly only – accessible via mobile devices and laptops
Paper ballot (Yellow) – customized for each district, available on request
Note: Each district may submit only one ELECTRONIC BALLOT OR YELLOW Priority Ballot on behalf of their board.

Identify your board’s top position priorities – have back-up positions identified in case there are changes/eliminations
Make sure you’re registered!
