Learning Target In order to understand how to fund my higher education, I will learn the fundamentals of financial aid. I will know I have it when I understand: (1) why higher education has a high potential return on investment; (2) the typical action steps that I should take on the path to higher education; (3) potential sources of higher education financing; (4) the advantages of federal student loans; (5) the difference between subsidized & unsubsidized federal student loans; and (6) the purpose and process of filing the FAFSA form.
