1 The presence of (A) thyroid peroxidase autoantibodies (TPO-ab) and (B) thyroglobulin autoantibodies (Tg-ab) among 53 individuals with Down’s syndrome in relation to age and thyroid function (hypothyroidic or euthyroidic). The presence of (A) thyroid peroxidase autoantibodies (TPO-ab) and (B) thyroglobulin autoantibodies (Tg-ab) among 53 individuals with Down’s syndrome in relation to age and thyroid function (hypothyroidic or euthyroidic). Only one analysis was performed for each subject. The concentrations of Tg-ab and TPO-ab in the 24 children with hypothyroidism correspond to the time of the clinical diagnosis. B Karlsson et al.
