Going to the Wrong Authority – v.6
“…Now be advised, when this letter comes to you, that I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy.” People have always gone to the wrong authority. Isaiah 8:19 God’s word is the true standard 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:3 Wrong Sources: conscience, majority, parents, human creeds, law of Moses, etc.

For some today, obeying the gospel is just “too simple” to wash away sins. 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14
