Aim: To use adjectives in a sentence.

2 Lets think of Bon-Fire Night
Who has had a bon-fire? Have you visited a fire works display? What did you see? What did you hear? What did you smell?

3 You have all been using adjectives to describe what you have heard, saw, smelt!

4 Lets record some of the words we have used
Sugary whirling excitedly Burning bangs colourful Candy floss whistles radiant Whizzing laughter caramel toffee Bright flames chatter CAN YOU THINK OF ANY MORE?

5 Lets build some sentences together
The children laughed excitedly as the colourful fireworks whizzed in the air. CAN YOU MAKE UP SOME SENTENCES ABOUT BONFIRE NIGHT?

6 Our Task We will be using these words to describe Bon-fire night and fire works. Think about reading your sentence to check for sense and using a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence and a full stop at the end.
