2. Wireless security
If you can, use wired segments whenever possible in your home
Disable DHCP services on all access points
Enable encryption!
Relocate your access point to a lower elevation for shorter range

3. Be stealthy
Change access point SSID to something that doesn't include your address, company name, or other identifying data
Use longest possible keys for encryption and change them regularly

4. Isolate and protect your network
Employ a special appliance to isolate your wireless users (BlueSocket, ReefEdge, Vernier Networks, Mobility from Netmotion Wireless are some examples) – expensive but safer
Setup NetStumbler and actually roam around your neighborhood and see whose networks you can connect to
