(DISTRICT) Indicator 13: Compliance
When manipulating the data and/or chart, you may have to choose whether to edit the existing (PPT 2003) or convert (PPT 2007), depending on what version you have. In 2003, double click on the chart, and you will be able to go back and forth between chart and data. In 2007, double click on the chart, and you will have edit buttons up above on the tool bar. Numbers in the chart are place holders. To change the numbers in the graph: -Double click on chart and select “edit data” or right click on chart and select “chart object” then “edit.” You will see worksheet tabs at the bottom of the chart. -To change the data, click on the “sheet 1” tab and enter the numerical values. -Then click the “chart 1” tab to ensure your changes have been made. -When complete, click outside the chart box. To change chart type: Double click on the chart and select “edit data.” Right click and select “change chart type.” To format/change numerical labels (on bar graphs or next to pie charts): -Double click on the chart and select “edit data.” Right click and select “Format data labels.” To change color: -Click on one of the bar graphs and select color from toolbar.
