7 The clarity from our lectures and seminars was not clear so the video actually gave us what was required It brought clarity alongside what was said in the Seminar session.

8 Every module should provide them, especially when faced with as much uncertainty over the assignment as we did with this from our lectures

12 Instead of preparing a detailed session on the assignment I used the video and set some questions alongside it, so this saved me 2 hrs work. We knew what was expected from students, and felt confident in providing the appropriate and consistent answer Students became more independent and were able to find out the question themselves, rather than constantly ask or send s for clarification

13 The benefits to the students and staff
The benefits was that the staff teaching them would be confident that their approach aligns with the wider team and module leader, and the students were receiving a more consistent approach to the module across all the delivery locations (Earley, 1994; McArthur-Rouse, 2008; Aladejana et al., 2006). Therefore the students were all be working in line with the module learning outcomes, regardless of delivery location.

14 Going forward… Journal Article. TeachMeet presentation.
CABS conference in April 2016 (poster presentation). Discussions within Faculty to introduce within other modules.
