19-April-05 Points of Discussion Needed at B904 for CSC to participate in Global Running TTC - we have an operational TTC crate with modules in rack E1A20(?). We would need a fiber from the Global TTC to our crate. CSCTF - we also have an operational CSC TF crate in rack E1A20(?). We would need a connection between this crate and the GMT. In principle this crate could be moved into a GT rack. But then we would need a cable from the TF to the TTC to enable local running. Or both the CSC TF and CSC TTC crates could be moved into the trigger racks. - Links from MS to GMT -> We have only two 8 m SCSI cables sitting in the box on the top shelf in 904 room. We need 4 for a full MS-to-GMT connection. FED - We have an operational FED crate. We also have space for an FMM crate in the same rack. Computers - We have local computers in rack E1A30 that are on an NFS cluster. We can explore if it is best to move these to a CMS-B904 network from the CERN network. Other - We have operational HV and LV hardware as well as a local or CSC-DCS system. Not Related to Global Running - We could use several (~6) fiber optic links from or racks in the integration row to our lab space. We forsee there may be uses but have no definite need at this time. 19-Aug-2009 CSC - ESSC July'09
