Specific reaction with MIB1, M30, and CD31 monoclonal antibodies in primary human cervical carcinoma before (A, C, and E) and after (B, D, and F) Tam treatment. Intense nuclear immunostaining for Ki67 antigen is evident in A, whereas it appears markedly reduced in biopsies obtained after Tam treatment (B). Specific immunoreaction of M30-recognized antigen is undetectable in pre-Tam biopsies (C), whereas a cytoplasmic granular staining is evident in post-Tam tumor cells (D). MVD is detectable in pre-Tam biopsies (E), whereas it is reduced in post-Tam samples (F). Scale bar, 100 μm. Gabriella Ferrandina et al.
