Pulmonary artery pressure in a) healthy subjects and b) pulmonary hypertension (PH) subjects.
Pulmonary artery pressure in a) healthy subjects and b) pulmonary hypertension (PH) subjects. Aortic pressure in c) healthy subjects and d) subjects with systemic hypertension subjects. In PH, systolic, diastolic and pulse pressure increased in proportion with mean pulmonary artery pressure. In systemic hypertension pulse pressure increases much more than mean aortic pressure and diastolic pressure may even decrease. N. Saouti et al.
