of Jesus is an event that is very uniquely different as we will clearly learn today.

seemed like the end to His life on earth.

15 The miracle of resurrection requires overcoming the power of death

18 The end of the song of the suffering servant
Isaiah 53:10-11 10 ... He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand. 11 As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; The end of the song of the suffering servant also clearly indicates His resurrection

19 The resurrection of the Messiah was surely
God’s plan but His death was REAL.

21 2. His Resurrection

22 Jesus was aware that after passing through
death that He will be resurrected. He taught His disciples about His death & resurrection but they were saddened.

25 Jesus taught the Pharisees about His death & resurrection. He also emphasized the duration of His death. Matthew 12:40 40 for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will the son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Read also Matthew 27:62; John 2:19, John 16:16)

26 Thus not only Jesus but His disciples,
listeners but even the Pharisees were aware that He will be resurrected 

27 He was resurrected after 3 days as testified
by angels, biblical facts & witnesses.

6 He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.

32 His resurrection is unique because He rose to never die anymore.

36 We can experience these 3 blessings by His resurrection:
I. Our new life.  (Romans 6:10,  Colossians 3:1) II. Our resurrection.  (Romans 8:11,  1 Cor. 15:20-21) III. His power in us.  (Philippians 3:10,  Romans 8:11)

41 Conclusion His resurrection was a real historical event
that took place to transform our lives.
