Approach to website building
Today will be non-technical, no work on the computer! Building a website is like building a home: 1. design blue prints before 2. breaking ground and construction starts Let’s Start with Blue Prints!

Website Purpose / objective
Who is your audience? What information does your audience need or want? What format/display will that info be best conveyed? Will you need 1-way or 2-way communication?

OTHER FUNCTIONS to CONSIDER: Do you plan to have an online store for selling items? Will you need an event RSVP function? Will you want to accept payments for dues, events, etc? What about having forms online to print or complete online? Think about all the things you can do on a website and consider these functions for your Court’s website.

Organize pages & content
Home page Limit the number of menu selections to about 6-8 items then decide what content will go on each sub-page. Use the home page for frequently referenced information, such as “What’s New” items, Court current events and other upcoming events.
