Scope of ID This doc creates the optimization of conveying more than one TSPEC: in a PATH message, and in a corresponding RESV message This is proposing an extension to IntServ draft-polk-tsvwg-intserv-multiple-tspec-06

3 Concept of IntServ Extension for Multiple Traffic Specs
Sender Rtr Rtr Rtr-N Receiver | | | | | | PATH (with 3 Traffic Specs: 12Mbps, 5Mbps, 1Mbps) | | >| >| >| >| | | | RESV (with 3 FLOWSPECs | | | | 12Mbps, 5Mbps & 1Mbps) | | | X < |< | | Rtr-2 cannot grant 12Mbps | | | RESV (with 2 FLOWSPECs | | | | Mbps & 1Mbps) | | | |< |< | ResvErr BW reduc. to 5Mbps | | | >| >| draft-polk-tsvwg-intserv-multiple-tspec-06

4 Newly Fixed Open issues
Fixed insufficient text on mulitcast Believe insufficient text on Shared Line is a hard problem, and haven’t solved this yet. This is similar to multicast, but looking for where it is not Created new error indicating all TSPECs were not grantable, not just the original TSPEC This is about non-upgraded routers experiencing congestion draft-polk-tsvwg-intserv-multiple-tspec-06
