1. Choose 5 of the pictures contained in this slide show.
2. Write 5 sentences about each picture. The sentences could be about the picture itself or they could tell a made up story about the picture.
3. For each sentence, identify all parts of the sentence:
Subject (simple and complete)
Verb (action or linking?)
Prepositional phrases
Direct/indirect objects
Predicate adjectives/predicate nominatives
Pronouns (nominative, object, etc.)
4. Identify the sentence type and sentence purpose for each.
You will receive one point per correct sentence to be added to your highest grammar summative score!

2. Grammar Redemption Assignment (continued)
To submit the assignment, you may do one of the following:
1. Simply write the picture number at the top of the paper with the 5 sentences on it and submit one sheet of paper per picture. OR
2. Add a new slide after each picture you choose, and type your sentences on that slide and submit it electronically by sharing with me on 365 or ing it to me. If you choose this method, remember that you must label each part of the sentence somehow before submitting.
