When defining aims and objectives of your programme, remember to take into consideration the target group. Who is your target Group? Age Group Male/female Job Title Education Salary Positions in the Union Years in the Union TTM 1

3 Initial and Terminal Behaviours
Initial behavior means the pattern of activities of your participants before they receive your training. Example: Working mothers do not use the daycare facilities provided by the company. TTM 1

4 Initial and Terminal Behaviours
Terminal Behavior means the actions, the do’s and don’ts that you want the participants to perform and observe after training. Example: Working mothers utilise the daycare facilities provided by the company. They attend the child and maternal care orientation programmes which are conducted once a week. TTM 1

When formulating Initial Behaviour and Terminal Behaviour statements, try to avoid ambiguous terms like: To know To learn To believe To understand To think To have faith in To appreciate TTM 1
