Noun Nouns are naming words. Name,place, animal,things are nouns.
Example, Ted, London, cat, table are nouns. Nouns Common Noun Proper Noun Monday is the first day of a week. Jack loves to play in the park. Jack loves to play in the park. ( Jack is a proper noun and park is a common noun).

Common and Proper Noun Common noun is any person,place, animal or thing. Proper noun is name of a particular person or place. Example- Jack loves to play in the park. Jack is a proper noun because its a particular name and park is a common noun because it can be any park. Proper nouns always start with a capital letter. e.g. My birthday party is on Friday. I go to school by bus. There are twenty apples in the basket. Ted caught the red ball. Words in italics are adjectives ( describing words) and words in bold letters are nouns( naming words).
