4. Spectrometer Performance Testing Complete
Spectrometer performance testing was completed in July 2017
Overall excellent spectral performance
With the exception of some minor/partial non-compliance
SAO and NASA LaRC reviewed performance
As-built / as-tested spectrometer performance will meet TEMPO level 1 science requirements

5. Significant Events Since Last Science Team Meeting
TEMPO manufacturing and test activity was suspended from August – November 2017
Awaited resolution of GEMS focus shift anomaly
TEMPO underwent minor structural reinforcement (2 fittings) to as risk reduction
Integration of spectrometer to telescope completed in November 2017
TEMPO instrument integration completed in May 2018
TEMPO vibe test completed in May 2018
TEMPO post-vibe spatial and spectral testing completed on June 1st
Final ambient performance testing in progress

Optical performance is consistent with pre-and-post vibe structural test data
Pre-and-post vibe dynamic overlays show no structural issues
Analysis of test data shows that all spatial and spectral performance is within expected range

9. SNR Model Updates Since TRR
Significant changes made after TRR:
Based on customer comments, corrections to smear noise term have been made
Based on customer comments, now include smear signal in the determination of the CTE noise contribution
Corrected the dark current collected during an image frame transfer
Corrected dark current rate values as a function of wavelength
Updated diffuser BTDF values with measured values from GSFC DCL
Added smear signal to well filling calculation
Added offset term to well filling calculation
For SNR requirement verification purposes, the integration time and coadds will be chosen to maximize the SNR for the required TEMPO scene
This has no impact on the on-orbit CONOPS shown on previous slides
