2. Friday lesson for year 10 before their GCSE Short Course exam on the Monday.
Aim was to highlight key areas of last minute revision.
Wanted to try and ‘destress’ them through a gimmicky, enjoyable lesson.

3. Preparation
Prediction questions.
Most challenging.
Takes time to create.
Completely reusable.

4. Pupil placemat
Double sided so pupils only needed one.
10 minutes to work as a group of 4 (3 SC pupils + 1 FC pupil) to answer all four questions.

5. Stretch and Challenge
Use of FC pupils or G&T.
Used as a facilitator – there to help and not take over.
Note down any form of good practice.

6. Marking
Ensures pupils access all units of learning.
Pupil friendly, tick sheet helps with timing.
Combine mark scheme with specials board until reflection time.
Takes time to create but again, reusable.

7. What the pupils take home
Reflection time.
Differentiate between technique and content focus.
A bit of confidence before their exam.
