Differing Degrees of Faith People have different levels of faith Weak faith (Rom. 4:19) Strong faith (Rom. 4:20; Acts 16:5) Little faith (Matt. 6:30; 8:26; 14:31; 16:8) Great faith (Matt. 8:10)

Faith Can be Lost Can lose faith altogether What it means to lose your faith Standing ground shaken – crumbles and is gone (Heb. 11:1) No longer depend upon God (Luke:18:1, 8) No longer function because of God’s word! Lost all hope (1 Pet. 1:9) [“Don’t count on hope when faith is gone”]

How We Lose Our Faith Lack of study – fail to feed it (Rom. 10:17; Col. 1:9-11) Missing worship (Heb. 10:24-25; Eph. 5:19) Fail to grow (2 Pet. 1:5-11) Secular education (1 Cor. 1:18-23) Fail to use what faith we have (Luke 17:5-10) Distance self from Lord & others (Matt. 26:58) Pressure of the environment (John 18:18, 25-27)
