1. Year 2 Term One Dear Parents/Carers
We hope you had a wonderful summer holiday and we look forward to new beginnings as we start this exciting year.
Year 2 is an important year and we encourage you to support your child as much as possible by hearing them read and practising 2, 5 and 10 times tables. This will help them with their learning significantly. Please sign your child’s reading log when you have heard them read, this will enable them to do quizzes and change their books.
PE will be every Friday for both classes as well as a blocked week in week beginning 7th October. Please make sure your child has the appropriate indoor and outdoor kits as we go outside in all weathers. Details of the kits can be found our website.
We are available on the door most mornings and afternoons, please feel free to talk to us about any issues you may have.
We look forward to seeing some great progress this term!
