What are some persuasive strategies?
Bandwagon-everyone is doing it! Ethical appeal- it is the right thing to do (ethos) Emotional appeal- makes you feel something (pathos) Practical appeal-makes logical sense (logos) Cognitive dissonance- contradicting someone’s previously held views to the point of discomfort or stress Rewards/punishment
