Renoir Class Achievements rewarded and recognised: Ready to learn
Achievement certificates Working in partnership with you What I believe, children learn best when they feel happy and safe. Complicated world we live in - ideal world all children motivated, ready to learn every lesson. Not always the case, some children lack confidence, find it hard to focus or are afraid to take risks. For that reason we support and encourage all children to achieve their own best and we want to recognise their achievements – through ready to learn, through achievement certificates and by creating an environment where children are confident to say if they don’t understand or if they are worried about something. This feeds into all lessons but specifically as part of our PSHE lessons-we have weekly circle times where teach children about managing emotions and dealing with life’s hurdles. Also chance to practise speaking and listening skills, something I believe is v important. Hopefully children now Year 5 will become increasingly confident to solve problems for themselves. Big part of year 5 learning to be resistant. You know your child best, if they or you have concerns or worries, even if its little niggles please share with us and see if we can help, or just making us aware helps us with teaching them. See us at the door am or pm or phone/ the office.
