Pictograph Storytelling
What you need: copy of Native American origin legend Read your origin story silently to yourself Complete the worksheet (independent work) Create a Pictograph depiction of your story on handout (independent work)

Write the title of your legend on the line at the top of your paper and your name next to “by_________”. Retell your legend using pictographs on the paper given. You may use these symbols or create your own. Be creative and demonstrate that you actually put effort into this. I expect you to use markers/colored pencils/crayons to make this look nice.
