Guatemala – El Salvador International Travel Module 2020 Since 2009, 400+ students and alumni have participated in many Social Enterprise in Latin America travel modules. These trips, led by Professor Peter Roberts, expose travelers to the challenges faced in developing countries by engaging participants in how businesses and markets are - and are not - achieving meaningful societal impacts. In our 2020 Guatemala – El Salvador International Travel Module, participants will spend 9 days and 8 nights exploring cities like Antigua and Ataco, and visiting coffee farms in Guatemala and El Salvador. We will also meet many of the social entrepreneurs who are re-shaping the economic landscape in Central America. Along the way, there will also be a volcano hike! travel modules are designed for small groups to ensure a highly engaging experience. Join us! 11 Finances Short Programs Available to all students currently enrolled
During the fall and spring semesters, budget adjustments allow you to borrow additional funds International students using funds from the Emory Alliance can use the Emory Dietz private loan for additional amount Domestic students may need to use an additional loan type if eligibility of one loan is full Summer programs require 6 credits to qualify for additional federal financial aid. 3 credits will allow for Emory Dietz private loan.

You pay Emory tuition and all the financial aid remains the same. If the standard living expenses are greater, you can apply for a budget adjustment Budget adjustments can include flight, visa costs, university fees

13 Things to remember Passports must be valid 6 months from return
Visa may be necessary Check for immunizations – some inoculations need to be made in advance for effectiveness ISOS travel form and waiver required US STEP recommended for US citizens Trip insurance recommended/required
