5 Bullying is intentional harm-doing where a negative action is repeated over time and there is an imbalance of power Not all negative, unacceptable behavior is bullying What is Bullying?

6 Train your staff to know and understand the difference between conflict and bullying

8 Know your staff and know your students

9 Establish clearly defined schoolwide behavior expectations

10 Make sure staff and students are aware of the consequences for their actions

13 Never tolerate inappropriate language, gestures or behaviors from staff or students
