8 Strategy The strategy focuses on:
Increase awareness of Water Polo/ Mini-Polo! Increase participation Develop pathway and club structures/networks Support development of young talent players Develop the workforce Develop a structured Competition framework Communication Strategy Influencing facility development to accommodate the needs of Water Polo

9 What has happen so far? Approx £60k investment into the England Talent Programme supporting 100+ players Approx £10K investment over 2 years into 8 coaches on the Advance Coaching Scheme UKCC Level 3 Water Polo Pilot course has started Continual development of Water Polo clubs and structures in Crystal Palace, West Midlands, Coventry and Bristol

Working on development of a school polo programme (RAPIDS) Swim21 British Gas Fund for clubs NCTP/ NPTS resources Development of a CPD/workshop on engaging with LA/LP Leadership/ Support from Csaba Rull.

Communication Strategy Blogs have been sent up on competitions/players overseas Newsletter Swimming Times

12 Next steps! Strategy will be circulated to all regions
Meetings with Regional Directors Article in Swimming Times – August 2010 Conference in January 2011 The plan will then be monitored by the Water Polo Group nationally.
