More Ways to Help What your child knows or does not know shouldn’t come as a surprise to you at report card and conference time. Watch… Everything we do is based on an activity, not a handout. Very little work can be sent when absent. Watch newsletter and s for concepts. “Please fix and return” if I need them to. Reflection and improvement is always the goal, not perfection. Temporary spelling is an essential transition. Tips for helping with reading.

found in monthly issue of Longacre Link
Need More Work? “Parent & Child Activity Calendar” found in monthly issue of Longacre Link “Home & School Connection” Many great websites listed in Longacre Link, on our school website, and I will occasionally send you others in my newsletters

Set Up For Success Anything you do for your child, that they can do for themselves, takes away their chance to learn. Have your child outside in line a few minutes before the bell rings at 9:02. Help your child return homework and notes on time. Have a fruit, veggie, yogurt or cheese snack packed for each day. Talk about what’s for snack or keep it in a separate part of backpack (with ice pack?). Have a fresh water bottle (with a sports-type pull top if possible). If at all possible, please do not pick your child up from school before 4:12. Late school, but…
