Our Vision Our Cathedral is our school, our children
“Having faith, beliefs, and convictions is a great thing, but your life is measured by the actions you take based upon them.” Nick Vujicic “Anything worth building cannot be built alone” Anon - Mr B has asked us to share our new School Vision. Inspirational video about the importance of perseverance and resilience – so important in Year 3 as it is such a big change. Year 2 lots of ‘with support’ statements. Year 3 more ‘independent’ statements. – More responsibility for their possesions, actions, homework. Our Cathedral is our school, our children

Our Vision Where we Learn Together, Grow Together, Achieve Together, knowing that Jesus said: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit." John 15:5 At Silverstone CE Primary we aim to nurture the talents and aspirations of our school community, developing the qualities of self-confidence, responsibility, compassion, determination to enable everyone to be the best they can be and to flourish in an ever-changing world.

Routines and Expectations
Reading books Children will have the opportunity to change books most days. We endeavour to listen to every child and have parent helpers to support us with this. Reading record book needs to be in school every day (placed in folder on side) – passwords for AR, TTR, Professor Assessor. Resources PE kit – every day (PE on Tuesday and Wednesday PM) Children can bring a pencil case but will be informed when they can use it. For potentially ‘messy’ Art and DT activities you may wish to send an old, oversized shirt for your child to wear. Passwords can be used at home to access TTR and occasionally Prof for homework. PE kit can be worn if caught in the rain or falling over in the mud.
