Auburn University Intramural Grants Program Four levels of competition: Early Career Development Grant – up to $10,000 from OVPRED Interdisciplinary Team Research Grant– up to $25,000 from OVPRED Good to Great Grant – up to $25,000 from OVPRED Continuing this year: The Cyber Research Grant (Cyber) is offered with additional funding in conjunction with the IGP. The Cyber will provide funding for up to two research projects (maximum funding of $50,000 each with a 1:1 match). All grants are two years in duration and require a 1:1 match

Auburn University Intramural Grants Program 2020 The existing program was reviewed by appropriate stakeholders. Deadline for submission is January 10, 2020. Proposals are evaluated using the electronic InfoReady system in AU Competition Space. Reviews will be conducted by three reviewers/proposal in January/February. Reviewer Distribution (includes a diversity of faculty including members from the Competitive Research Grant Committee (CRGC) of the University Senate) Funding decisions made in March Intramural Grants

Auburn University Intramural Grants Program For the IGP call, on November 9, 2018, faculty submitted 94 proposals. Following the February panel review, 50 applications were funded (53% funding rate). Most of the colleges/schools received at least one award. A total of just over $1.5M was awarded ($790,944 – OVPRED + $790,944 minimum required matching funds). In the IGP cycle, 37 of 86 applications (43%) were funded. A total of just over $1.8M was awarded ($949,030 – OVPRED + $949,030 minimum required matching funds). This brings total awards to more than $16M in the first 8 years of the program.

Auburn University Intramural Grants Program Again THIS YEAR! We will be utilizing electronic approvals as a part of this year’s application. You will enter your Department Head’s (one address) in Approval Routing 1 and the Associate Dean for Research's address (one address) in Approval Routing 2. Please keep these electronic approvals in mind when submitting your proposal. Proposals must be electronically approved and received BEFORE the application deadline to be considered for review.
