1 Schedule-dependent impact of costimulated activated T-cell transfer on T-cell reconstitution after tandem stem cell transplant. Schedule-dependent impact of costimulated activated T-cell transfer on T-cell reconstitution after tandem stem cell transplant. Patients received T cells at 1 of 3 points in this safety and feasibility phase: at days 2, 12, and 90 after stem cell infusion. CD3+, CD3+CD4+ (CD4), CD3+CD8+ (CD8) T cells were enumerated on clinical samples at each time point. X-axis: pretransplant refers to blood drawn immediately before the first transplant; the other time points refer to days after the second transplant. The CD4 and CD8 T-cell count differences between the 3 groups are significant at day 30 (Kruskal—Wallis: P = and , respectively). At day 60, CD3, CD4, and CD8 T cells are all significantly different with P = , , and , respectively. Stephan A. Grupp et al.
