The mission of the MS-ISAC is to improve the overall cybersecurity posture of the nation's state, local, tribal and territorial governments through focused cyber threat prevention, protection, response, and recovery.

EI-ISAC
The Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center™ (EI-ISAC®) was established by the EIS-GCC to support the cybersecurity needs of the elections subsector. Through the EI-ISAC, election agencies will gain access to an elections-focused cyber defense suite, including sector- specific threat intelligence products, incident response and remediation, threat and vulnerability monitoring, cybersecurity awareness and training products, and tools for implementing security best practices. 
DHS
Department of Homeland Security offers cybersecurity tools to assess system vulnerabilities, training resources, etc. Your relationship with them is direct and protected, and we only become aware of concerns when you bring them to our attention.

5th, 7th, 9th Friday prior to election, rather than weekends
Precinct maps (34-301)
Counties are required to submit a written description of precincts along with the map they submit to Secretary of State

Electors who change residence (34-413)
Electors who have moved to another county or state within 30 days prior to an election shall be permitted to vote in ensuing election at prior address

Increases threshold to 140, based on last general election
May remain until the precinct contains 151 registered electors

Added language to levies (similar to existing bond requirements) that requires a disclosure of the effect of the levy on property taxes per $100,000 of assessed value and the length of time.
Schools as polling places (34-302)
Public school facilities shall be made available to the board as precinct polling places.

Municipal Candidates
Cities with population under 5,000 are exempt
Report to City Clerk
School District Trustee Candidates
Districts with fewer than 500 students are exempt
Report to County Clerk
Districts shared between two counties should report to “home county”
Candidates must submit a C-1, naming political treasurer when they declare candidacy, or prior to accepting/spending funds
Candidates may name themselves as political treasurer
City or County Clerk should review reports for accuracy

10. Sunshine Law Changes (January 1, 2020)
SB 1113 – Amends campaign finance reporting laws so that all reporting falls under Title 67, Chapter 66 rather than individual district code sections
Reports will be filed through Secretary of State’s website
Counties and Cities will still be responsible for compliance/enforcement of candidates/officials
Views will be based on your role & responsibility
Reporting dates –
Election year - Monthly report filed by the 10th of the following month
Non-election year - Annual report filed by Jan. 10th of the following year
Contributions of $1,000 or more must be reported within 48 hours
Special provision for local elections and measures ( )
Candidates for local government office or political committee designated to support or oppose a local ballot measure – exempt until reaching $500 threshold
Secretary of State Directive will be issued to counties with training in new reporting module
