The Cross has destroyed the devil’s plan for your life
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 1John 3:8
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,  and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Heb. 2:14-15

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.  Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 1Peter 5:8-9
