Hcy decreases VEGFR1/2 and Angs (Ang1, Ang2) gene transcription (A,B) RT-PCR analysis of VEGFR1 and VEGFR2 demonstrated that the treatment with different concentrations of Hcy reduces VEGFR1/2 mRNA in HUVECs. Data are expressed as fold increase compared with control cells treated with PBS only and are the mean ± S.E.M. of three experiments. Hcy significantly decreased Ang1 (C) and Ang2 (D) gene expression in a dose-dependent way. The data are representative of three independent experiments performed in triplicate.
