4. Why this matters Assessment of competency requires observations
Development of competency requires feedback, with practice and reflection
Management of training requires documentation of competency and feedback
Almost all training programs struggle with teachers documenting feedback
Is configured to needs of specific discipline optimizes time and value of data

Shoulder-to-shoulder discussions documented on mobile devices

5. Hands on demo
Depending on size of group, I will ask for volunteer, to be student
Volunteer must have iOs or Android phone with access to internet
I will be logged in as teacher on my iPhone and show device using Reflector

6. Create an Account for your T-Res demo
Go to  type in your web search bar "t-res.net/demo".
Provide your account signup details. All fields are required.

7. The Role field decides if you will request and receive feedback as a learner, or be prompted to provide feedback as an Instructor.
Click Sign Up to create a new account for yourself.
You are given a username, and a button to copy it to clipboard. Copy or memorize this username.

8. Under the app links, follow the web link to log in to T-Res automatically through your browser, where you will be prompted to sign the Terms of Service and Business Associate Agreement.

Use the links provided to download the Android or iOS app to your mobile device. After you launch the app, paste the username that you copied earlier.

10. Evaluations begin with an activity saved by the learner
As a learner, Enter a New Activity.
Some fields are large lists that can be expanded.

11. Evaluation & Private journal
Self Evaluation Scales allow residents to evaluate their learning experience : N/A - 5
The Personal Experience is a reflexive exercise shared with the preceptor
Don’t forget to check it to request the evaluation to be sent to the staff you selected
The Private Journal activity is not an evaluation and is for tracking a user's private, personalized data.

12. Saving When the activity is ready, use one of the Save options.
Save - Go to the View Activities page
Save and New - Go to a new blank activity 
Save and Duplicate - Go to a new activity with all settings copied over from this one
tap a Pending evaluation

13. The Instructor will instantly receive a notification if they have the T-Res mobile app.
The activities submitted by the residents are now showing as a list on the staff front page

14. Reviewing the evaluation
The preceptor selects the pending evaluation, new fields are shown in white
Save and learner will receive an instant notification
complete the evaluation and notify the resident
Comments can be exchanged and trigger a discussion

15. Reports and Data Mining For Instructors and Learners
Once reviewed the evaluation is marked complete in the resident’s log book
On the Web portal, Reports show their T-Res data

16. Many reports have been created and customised to each Program’s needs.
Click Subscribe to have a report automatically and regularly sent to your address.
