Drink less, more or different! ICT adds scale. All actors are responsible in the value chain We put people in the centre. Are you a consumer or a citizen? Who is going to pay? Redistribution along the whole value chain is a must. No free money! Innovations in local coffee production approaches: adapting to a changing climate Roasters, traders and consumers: if you want your coffee, you have to pay for it. How aout the quality oif the extension services? Local and national governments have to set rules and regulations and create incentives. All actors should exercise ethics. The landscape approach is a very convincing model. Do we need a coffee tax? To all actors: what is a rewarding price level? The level of investment of the industry is low, compared to the value of the industry. Coffee Farmers of the Future: include the family Producers, NGOs and ‘converted business people’ need to speak the same language and explain the risks to the corporate Board rooms. Stop thinking in projects, start thinking in systems. Include government! There is need for a long-term approach and investments. There is need for a long-term approach.
