Removal of 1L . G.15.1 => would act as the general sub-clause that applies to all equipment with liquid cooling. Directs self contained equipment to testing criteria in 15.2 or modular equipment to Offers evaluations to as acceptable. G.15.2 => will guide to requirements for self-contained. Modification suggested April 20, 2004 by Roose, 108HBSDT San Jose. Rationale Get standard IEC more aligned with standard IEC ed.3 and the European pressure directive. According to IEC ed. 3: The test pressure is the maximum pressure multiplied by a factor of 1,5 for testing against leakage and by factor 2,0 for testing against burst. The maximum pressure value is taking into account any single fault condition. According to the European pressure directive: For pressure vessels, the hydrostatic test pressure must be no less than corresponding to the maximum loading to which the pressure equipment may be subject in service taking into account its maximum allowable pressure and its maximum allowable temperature, multiplied by the coefficient 1,25, or the maximum allowable pressure multiplied by the coefficient 1,43, whichever is the greater.
