4 2018 Economic Survey For the first time, employers cited the labor shortage of skilled and qualified workers as the single most important issue affecting their ability to remain competitive in today’s economy. Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce Ronysha Henderson is the PA Apprenticeship Manager Consultant for the PA Department of Labor & Industry, Office of Apprenticeship. She has worked extensively in the workforce development sector assisting global Fortune 500 companies with analysis and planning of human capital needs, identifying prevailing trends in the labor environment, and developing fiscal assistance programs. Ronysha currently works to develop several registered apprenticeship programs in the healthcare, manufacturing, education, information technology sectors. Ronysha regularity shares her workforce expertise at conferences, higher education events, and meetings to promote the registered apprenticeship system. Her work continues to generate hundreds of new jobs for Pennsylvania and abroad.
