3 What is Title I? It is the largest federal assistance program for our nation’s schools. The goal is to provide higher quality education for every child. The program serves millions of students each year. Coral Park is a Title I school.

4 How Title I Works Federal government provides funds
Florida Department of Education sends the funds to the District District identifies eligible schools and provides the Title I funds. More information can be found at School Public Accountability Report (SPAR): prd.doe.state.fl.us/eds/nclbspar/index.cfm

5 How Title I Funds Work Used to provide additional resources and support to students Additional teachers and/or paraprofessionals Additional training for staff Extra time for instruction (before/after school programs) Variety of supplemental teaching methods/materials Parent Engagement Activities
